Master Liveaboards is a premium liveaboard diving company operating in some of the world’s most iconic diving destinations. Before starting Clear Coast Solutions, we clocked up 30 years working for them – half of that deep in the marketing trenches. It’s where we cut our teeth, found our voice, and learned how to sell underwater adventures without sounding like Jacques Cousteau’s ghost-writer.
Understanding the Vision
Master Liveaboards was created to bring high standards, consistency, and true professionalism to liveaboard diving experiences worldwide. With a focus on quality vessels, exceptional crew, and a passion for diving, their goal is to ensure divers enjoy inspirational experiences every single time!
Company and Brand Evolution: From Many to One
Between 2020 and 2025 we were at the heart of a serious transformation. Following the merger of Worldwide Dive and Sail (WWDASI) and Blue O Two, we found ourselves with five strong but very different brands: Master Liveaboards, Siren Fleet, Blue O Two, WWDASI, and The Junk. Post-COVID, it was clear the future demanded unity and clarity.
We were privileged to be part of a small core team carrying out a comprehensive review of not just marketing, but internal systems and operations across the business. This wasn’t just a rebrand – it was a full-scale evolution.

Master Liveaboards, previously a small part of the stable, got a total refresh and was brought to the fore. The remaining brands were carefully brought under this one cohesive identity. This process involved consolidating operations, aligning tone and messaging, and building out the systems needed to support a sleeker, future-focused business. Bit by bit, we helped the company shed its patchwork past and become a single, confident, recognisable brand.
The Brand
The challenge was to create something new that still felt familiar – while being ready for the future. To make this happen we:
- Partnered with an external designer, (later brought in-house) to create a modern brand for the long-term
- Developed a complete identity: logo, colour palette, typography, voice, and tone
- Rolled out branding across digital, physical, and onboard experiences
- Made sure the brand was visible (and consistent) from brochures to boat hulls

A New Website

Master Liveaboards needed a single digital home that could grow with the business. This is no small task when a requirement is to be ready for the modern world. As such, as a team we:
- Designed a centralised website for all vessels and destinations that was visually compelling with a strong UX
- Built to work! For speed, SEO, and visual storytelling through immersive imagery
- Future-proofed for online booking and integrations. But not only that, to be accessible to relevant staff members to keep up to date without web design experience
- Created a user journey that made trip discovery and planning intuitive and fast… and fun
Technology Stack
With two major businesses using completely different systems and processes, everything needed reimagining, not just nailing together. Not just new tools, but new ways of working. The team:
- Audited existing systems and streamlined overlapping tools
- Implemented Inseanq as a custom-fit booking online solution and Flywire for secure online payments
- Adopted Zoho One to unify helpdesk, forms, online chat, automation, marketing, and reporting
- Introduced automation to reduce manual tasks and improve accuracy

Social Media

Due to fast growth, multiple companies and even more brands, we needed to tame the social media hydra – without losing the audience. We were central to this work:
- Consolidating 6 Facebook and 4 Instagram pages into single brand accounts
- Unified TripAdvisor profiles for better visibility and consistency
- Created a clean, cohesive content calendar and visual direction
- Shifted focus to storytelling and high-impact visuals to drive engagement
Operations: Behind the Bubbles
Building a strong brand is only half the story. Making sure the business runs smoothly behind the scenes is also where the real transformation happens. At Clear Coast Solutions, we weren’t just helping Master Liveaboards look good on the outside. We were in the engine room too.
As part of the post-merger evolution, we played a central role in aligning the company’s operational backbone. With five legacy businesses each doing things their own way, processes were tangled, inconsistent, and full of duplication. We helped untangle the mess.
Operations
With fast growth, remote teams, and global guests, operations couldn’t just evolve. They needed redesigning. Not just better processes, but smarter, scalable ways of working. The team:
- Mapped and improved workflows to eliminate inefficiencies
- Standardised safety and legal practices across all regions
- Created clear, practical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for daily tasks and emergencies
- Built tools to keep teams informed and aligned, across time zones
- Turned feedback into actions that improved guest experience
