Understanding the Vision
Pixel Expeditions offers small-group expeditions in Mexico’s Yucatán region, designed to connect travellers with the natural world while minimising environmental impact. Their mission is to create intimate, ethical travel experiences that foster a deeper appreciation for our planet. We saw in their work a clear alignment with our own values, and our aim became to create a digital presence that inspires travellers and builds trust in their sustainable approach.
Strengthening The Brand

When we began, Pixel Expeditions already had a website and Instagram page, but their online presence was limited and not working as hard as it could. Together we refined their branding, pulling everything into a consistent branding kit—logos, colours, fonts, and guidelines—so the look and feel stays aligned across all platforms and touchpoints.
Rebuilding the Website Experience
Pixel Expeditions’ website was a good start but needed clearer navigation and a smoother customer journey. Our focus was on making it easier for travellers to explore trips and book directly. Key steps included:
- Auditing the website for technical and on-page improvements.
- Rewriting and updating tour information for clarity and consistency.
- Adding legal pages and FAQs to build trust and improve SEO.
- Creating a blog and content calendar to establish Pixel Expeditions as a go-to voice for eco-travel in Mexico.

Expanding the Digital Footprint

e also worked on growing Pixel Expeditions’ presence beyond their website. This included:
- Setting up and optimising their Google Business profile to improve visibility and reviews.
- Creating and connecting a Meta Business account (Facebook and Instagram) for better content management and advertising options.
- Preparing Viator and TripAdvisor listings to reach new audiences and streamline bookings.
- Developing an 8-week content and blog calendar to ensure consistent storytelling and audience engagement.
Phase 1 of the project has set a solid foundation for Pixel Expeditions to grow online. With branding aligned, platforms connected, and content strategies in motion, we are now focusing on the next steps: optimising online payments, building blog content, and introducing customer management tools to support long-term growth.
